The Characteristics of Kazue's Direction.
Although the rehearsal room is full of laughter, it is said to be a very hard rehearsal for the actors. This is because the aim of directing is to bring out each actor's unique beauty. (Actors will know what this means).
The Characteristics of ARU's productions
We always create plays with two clear themes: modernity (significance that must be performed now) and theatrical challenge. The theatre project 'ARU' has also been very well received by audiences who do not normally see the theatre.
The actors range from their 20s to their 50s, and the experienced actors are there to do something really interesting.
About Takeuchi Lessons
They were held by a director, TAKEUCHI, Toshiharu (1925-2009), who led underground theatre movements in Japan. He explored the relationship between the body and languages through theatrical techniques. His style seems to be similar to Michel Chekhov techniques. He influenced psychological societies, linguistic societies and educational societies.
